Hi, I’m Jess.

Healing begins with meaningful connection.

I’m a licensed professional counselor who believes that healing begins with meaningful connection—to ourselves, to the people in our lives, and to the things that matter most.

My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and systems-focused, honoring that every behavior and coping strategy carries its own protective story.

Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with you?” I ask, “What happened to you, and how has that shaped who you are?”

Together, we’ll create safety, deepen insight, and reconnect you with the resilience and strengths that have always lived inside you.

Who I support

Care that meets you where you are.

Each stage of life asks for a different kind of support. My work is tailored to development, relationships, nervous-system needs, and the goals that matter most to you.

Children & Families

Play is a child’s first language. Through Theraplay® and TraumaPlay™, I support children in expressing emotions, processing difficult experiences, and building confidence in ways that feel natural, playful, and developmentally attuned.

I collaborate closely with parents and caregivers because real healing happens within relationships.

Parents & Caregivers

Through a parenting curriculum inspired by Daniel J. Siegel, Becky Kennedy, Paris Goodyear-Brown, and others, I help caregivers understand their child’s developing brain, strengthen secure attachment, and nurture resilience at home.

The goal is not perfect parenting. It is greater clarity, connection, repair, and confidence in the moments that matter.

Adolescents & Adults

I weave together somatic and polyvagal-informed practices, CBT and DBT strategies, IFS-informed parts work, and EMDR to support nervous-system regulation and trauma processing.

My aim is to guide you beyond mere survival toward durable resilience, clearer self-understanding, and a life that genuinely reflects your values.

My approach

Evidence-informed care without losing the person in front of me.

I draw from multiple approaches, but therapy is never a checklist of techniques. We will choose what fits your needs, your pace, and the way you make sense of your experiences.
